Absolutely love Dr Ramos! She's probably one of the best doctors I've had or dealt with through every family medical situation. She truly listens, caring, knowledgeable, never talks down to you or makes you feel intimidated about asking questions. Reassuring and takes the time to make sure all answers to my questions are addressed and understood to give me the best information to deal with going on with my medical situation...with compassion that it's overwhelming and frightening enough but being able to have her as my doctor through this cancer journey has been a true blessing!

Bio

Dr. Amanda Ramos is a gynecologic oncologist seeing patients in Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute locations in New Britain and Manchester.

Dr. Ramos’ areas of interest include cancer clinical trials, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, Gestational Trophoblastic Disease, inherited predisposition to gynecologic cancer, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, ovarian cancer, Fallopian tube cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, vaginal cancer and vulvar cancer.

After receiving her medical degree from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, she completed a residency in gynecology and obstetrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ramos is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
